The incident occurred on the night of July 16 after the flight departed at 3:17 PM from the Scottish city.
The plane was scheduled to land at Lanzarote Airport at 7:50 PM, but it did not. A passenger began to feel unwell, requiring urgent medical attention.
After the cabin crew alerted the pilots to the situation, they contacted the control tower to deviate from the route and be able to land at the nearest airport.
Finally, the aircraft was able to land in the city of Faro, where it received medical attention. After that, the plane continued its route to Lanzarote, where it arrived without further problems.
