Five people, including two children aged 8 and 11, have been affected to varying degrees in a head-on collision between two cars in Costa Teguise.
The accident occurred at approximately 10:34 this Monday on Avenida del Golf in the coastal town. After being alerted by the CECOES, agents from the Local Police, the Civil Guard and two ambulances from the Canary Islands Emergency Service were dispatched.
The healthcare personnel assisted the five people affected. An 11-year-old child who presented with moderate back trauma and another 8-year-old child suffered an anxiety attack and moderate back trauma. Among the three adults, there is a 63-year-old male who presented with moderate abdominal pain, a 69-year-old woman who suffered an anxiety attack, and another 46-year-old woman who presented with an anxiety attack. All of them have been transferred by ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service.
Local Police and Civil Guard agents have secured the area and have carried out the corresponding report.
