Firefighters rescue a woman locked in a business on La Marina avenue

The intervention occurred in the early morning in Arrecife; hours later they acted in another home for a woman trapped in the bathroom

Members of the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium intervened at 00:46 hours this Sunday, February 15, after receiving a report of a person locked in a commercial premises located on Avenida La Marina, in Arrecife.

Upon their arrival, they confirmed that it was a woman who had become trapped inside the establishment. To resolve the situation, they proceeded to open the door by removing the lock cylinder, which allowed police officers access to the premises to identify the woman.

Once the performance was over, the firefighters installed a new cylinder at the door, with the Local Police keeping the set of keys for later delivery to the establishment's owner.

 

Another woman rescued after being trapped in the bathroom of her home

Barely an hour later, at 01:50 hours, the Lanzarote Security and Emergencies Consortium intervened again in the Lanzarote capital.

On this occasion, the alert occurred in a dwelling on Ramón Franco street, also in Arrecife, where a woman had become locked in the bathroom due to the breakdown of the lock.

The officers managed to open the door by manipulating the damaged mechanism, after which they blocked the lock and informed the tenants of the need to replace it.
