The Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote intervened this Wednesday at the Playa Blanca Health Center, in the municipality of Yaiza, to assist a middle-aged woman with a ring stuck on her finger.
As reported by the Consortium itself, the alert was received at 12:43 hours through the CECOES. Once on the scene, the health personnel requested the collaboration of the troops to remove the ring, which could not be extracted by conventional means.
The troops have used a Dremel-type tool to carefully cut the jewel and achieve its removal without causing injury to the patient.
