Firefighters putting out the fire in the lot

Firefighters went this Monday night to a vacant lot to put out a fire on Brasilia Street, in Arrecife, as reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium.

Alerted by the call of a private individual who warned of a fire whose flames were reaching the first floor of the adjacent building, the troops moved to the place where the National Police were already located.

The fire affected a shanty that was burning in its entirety but had not spread to the building next to the lot. The firefighters proceeded to extinguish it with water and ended the service.
