Firefighters have extinguished a fire of a pile of accumulated clothes in a laundry room in Maneje on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, the incident took place around 4:49 p.m. on Isla Margarita Street, on the roof of a two-story building. Once they were alerted by the Cecoes, the firefighters moved to the place, and in order to access the laundry room they had to break the lower panel of the door, since a pile of clothes at the entrance prevented them from accessing.
The firefighters, after verifying that the fire only affected the clothes and not the washing machine next to it, proceeded to extinguish the flames.
