Firefighters have extinguished two container fires in Arrecife. According to the Emergency Consortium, the first fire took place at approximately 10:00 p.m. on Friday on Tenderete Street and the second fire occurred on Antonio Armas Street at approximately 7:00 a.m. this Saturday.
Regarding the first incident, firefighters were alerted by CECOES to a transport container fire on a lot. Upon arriving at the scene, they found that it was a hook container, full of cardboard. They then proceeded to extinguish it with water and foam.

The second fire also took place on a lot, next to the SPAR in La Vega. In this case, the Emergency Consortium has reported that it was a garbage container fire, which firefighters managed to extinguish with water and foam.
Agents of the National Police went to the scene of the first incident and agents of the Local and National Police went to the second incident.
