Firefighters extinguished a house fire in Arrecife on Thursday night. The fire started around ten o'clock at night on Ingeniero Paz Peraza street.
After the Emergency Consortium was alerted, personnel from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium were dispatched.
Upon arrival, they confirmed that the owner had managed to contain the flames by closing the door of the affected room, which prevented their spread to other areas.
Immediately after, the firefighters proceeded to extinguish the fire using water, and after it was out, they ventilated the dwelling to dissipate the smoke. Once the area was secured and it was verified that there was no risk of reignition or major damage, they concluded the service
No injuries or intoxications were reported, and the home did not suffer serious structural damage, according to the Consortium.
