Firefighters extinguished a fire on a plot of land in Playa Honda on Friday night, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The fire took place at around 10:30 p.m. near the El Cielo nightclub on the airport highway. Civil Guard agents went to the scene and alerted the Emergency Consortium.
It was garbage that was burning in its entirety without affecting anything nearby that could pose a risk. Immediately afterwards, the firefighters extinguished the flames with water, helped by a 25-meter hose.
