Firefighters have extinguished this Monday a fire that affected the basement of a home on El Varadero street, in Arrieta, according to the Emergency Consortium.
After receiving the alert, the personnel quickly moved to the scene, at the same time that Local Police officers informed them that the fire affected the basement of the residence.
Upon arrival, the owner of the home indicated to the firefighters where the basement was located and what was inside.
The firefighters began to extinguish the flames and, afterwards, ventilated the apartment and the basement. Once the smoke was extracted from the interior, the personnel informed the owner about the condition of the home.
