Firefighters had to intervene this Tuesday in the cleanup of a significant diesel spill at the Cabildo roundabout that posed a great risk of skidding for cars, according to the Consortium of Emergencies.
Local Police officers have moved to the site, taking charge of securing the area and regulating traffic to prevent accidents.
Emergency personnel applied sepiolite (mineral absorbent), carrying out the absorption and neutralization of the spilled fuel, as well as treating the affected surface to remove product residue and reduce the risk of skidding.
Once the work was completed, firefighters verified that the area was left in safe conditions.
Police officers prepared the corresponding report.
