A fire broke out on Wednesday morning in an abandoned house located on La Hoya street, in the municipality of Haría. According to reports from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, the notice was received at 7:41 a.m. through the CECOES.
Fire Department personnel went to the scene, who upon arrival confirmed that it was an uninhabited building on fire. Local Police and Civil Guard agents were already in the area, who collaborated in the intervention.
The firefighters proceeded to extinguish the fire and checked the interior of the house, confirming that there were no people affected. After the extinction, the building was ventilated and the closure of the operation was reported to both the CECOES and the central office.
