Driver injured after hitting a guardrail at the Los Geranios roundabout

The 50-year-old man had to be transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital to be treated for the injuries he suffered after the accident

A man was injured after his car crashed into a guardrail in Arrecife. The accident took place this Thursday afternoon on León y Castillo street in Arrecife, in the Los Geranios area.

Specifically, the accident occurred at the roundabout exit of the ring road, which connects Arrecife with Tahíche.

During the incident, the vehicle collided with the guardrail and the hood of the car was completely destroyed, as can be seen in the video accessed by La Voz. The vehicle stopped on the road with the doors open after the accident.

After the collision, the 50-year-old man had to be transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital with minor injuries.

In addition, agents from the Arrecife Local Police and a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) went to the area.
