A 32-year-old woman was injured on Monday morning after her vehicle collided with a lamppost and overturned on the LZ-30 road, in Ugaz, according to the Emergency Coordination Center (CECOES).
The incident took place around 06:50 hours, when 112 received a call alerting them to the accident. Immediately, CECOES provided instructions via teleassistance to the first people who witnessed the accident so that they could assist the woman until the emergency services arrived.
112 activated a medicalized ambulance and another basic life support ambulance, which quickly traveled to the scene. Upon arrival, healthcare personnel assessed the affected person, who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented multiple moderate contusions.
After being assisted by healthcare personnel, she was transferred by the basic life support ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
Meanwhile, firefighters from the Emergency Consortium were responsible for securing the vehicle and verifying that there were no other occupants inside. Additionally, the personnel also cleaned the road and removed the car debris.
For their part, Civil Guard agents also traveled to the scene, where they were responsible for regulating traffic on the road and preparing the corresponding report. Thus, the Local Police collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources.
