The driver of a vehicle was injured after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a lamppost in Puerto del Carmen, according to the Consortium of Emergencies.
The accident took place around 7:00 PM this Friday, September 25, on Rambla Islas Canarias in the tourist town.
After being alerted by the CECOES, Local Police officers, Civil Protection, firefighters, and an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service were dispatched,
Health personnel attended to the injured person and after stabilizing him, he was evacuated by ambulance to Molina Orosa Hospital.
Firefighters disconnected the lamppost which fell to the ground due to the impact, disconnected the car battery, removed the luminaire from the sidewalk, and cleaned the road.
For their part, the police officers collaborated with the emergency personnel, regulated traffic, and carried out the corresponding report.
