Firefighters had to extinguish the fire of a vehicle after the driver lost control of the car and crashed into several parked vehicles on Avenida Las Palmeras, in Costa Teguise, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The incident took place around 06:25 hours this Monday, at which time emergency services were dispatched to the scene.
Health personnel attended to the woman at the scene and she was transferred by ambulance to the Hospital José Molina Orosa.
Firefighters proceeded to extinguish the fire with water and foam. Later, they removed the vehicle from the lane and cleaned the road so that traffic could circulate.
Local Police and Civil Guard agents also attended the scene of the accident, and they were in charge of regulating traffic and carrying out the corresponding investigations.
