A man has been moderately injured in a two-vehicle accident, according to the Emergency Consortium. Due to the impact, one of the cars overturned and its occupant was trapped.
The accident took place around 7 in the morning on the LZ-2 road at the entrance to Playa Honda. After being alerted by the CECOES, Local Police officers, firefighters, and a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service were dispatched.
Upon arrival, firefighters freed the affected person from inside the vehicle and transferred them to the SUC ambulance. Medical personnel attended to the injured person, who presented with moderate injuries and was transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
In addition, emergency personnel secured the two vehicles involved in the accident and disconnected the batteries of both.
Finally, police officers were responsible for regulating traffic on the road and carried out the corresponding report.
