Firefighters extinguished the fire of several containers in Tinajo on Wednesday night, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The fire occurred around 11:15 p.m. on Calle El Tablero in the municipality. Local Police and the Security Consortium agents were dispatched to the scene.
When the firefighters arrived at the scene, they found that several residents were trying to put out the fire by applying water with a hose. The personnel proceeded to extinguish it by applying a wetting agent (water with additive), using the ProPak equipment (foam generator).
Three containers affected, one for cardboard recycling and another for glass recycling, both completely burnt, and a third for packaging recycling, which showed partial damage from thermal radiation.
