Two vehicles, including a rental car and another vehicle, suffered a head-on collision at noon this Thursday. The accident occurred at 1:20 p.m. at the intersection between Avenida de Las Palmeras and Calle Ruta del Norte.
An ambulance with basic life support from the Canary Islands Emergency Service was transferred to the scene. A woman who suffered a mild cervicalgia was treated and transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
Alerted by the Local Police of Teguise, the Firefighters of the Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote went to the place to clean the road with sepiolite. Before that, the two vehicles were removed.
