A vehicle burned on the night of this Monday, March 9, on the Rambla Medular of Arrecife, at the height of the National Police Corps, in an incident that also affected stubble of a nearby plot.
As reported by the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, the alert was received at 22:01 hours through CECOES, which alerted firefighters to a vehicle fire in the area.
Once at the scene, the personnel confirmed that the car was burning generally and that the flames had spread to a considerable area of stubble located on a nearby plot.
The firefighters proceeded to extinguish the fire using water and, subsequently, foam, managing to completely put out the flames. During the intervention, agents of the Local Police and the National Police were in charge of securing the area to facilitate the work of the emergency services.
After finishing the service, the personnel informed the fire station and CECOES before returning to the station. For now, no personal injuries related to the incident have been reported.
