A 50-year-old woman has died by drowning this Saturday, September 5, in Punta Mujeres, according to the Consortium of Emergencies. Around 1:00 PM, CECOES was alerted that a swimmer had been pulled from the water and was in cardiorespiratory arrest. The Consortium of Emergencies believes she suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest while swimming. Medical personnel performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, but they were unsuccessful.
