A fire that broke out on Monday night in a dwelling located on Libertad street, in the municipality of Tías, mobilized emergency personnel after being alerted by Cecoes at 21:29 hours.
According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, resources from the Central Park were dispatched to the scene, along with officers from the Tías Local Police and the Civil Guard, who indicated the exact location of the fire upon their arrival.
The agents of the Local Police had previously proceeded to lower the light switches when the owner of the dwelling made an appearance.
Once inside the property, the officers verified that the fire had originated in the kitchen, specifically in the microwave cabinet, spreading to part of the furniture. The smoke had flooded the entire dwelling.
The fire largely extinguished itself because the dwelling was closed. Nevertheless, the personnel proceeded to complete the extinguishing with a foam extinguisher.
Subsequently, ventilation tasks to eliminate smoke and hot gases were carried out, as well as the removal to the exterior of charred furniture and appliances.
