A one-year-old baby was locked inside a vehicle this Thursday afternoon on San Borondón street, in Playa Honda.
According to reports from the Lanzarote Safety and Emergency Consortium, the incident occurred around 18:06 hours, when the CECOES 1-1-2 alerted emergency services that a minor was inside a locked car.
Members of the Consortium went to the scene, along with agents from the Local Police and the Civil Guard. Once in the area, the firefighters proceeded to open the vehicle and managed to gain access to the interior, finding the baby in good condition.
The minor was handed over to his mother, who took charge of him after the incident. Fortunately, no medical assistance was necessary.
