Agents of the National Police arrested this Sunday morning a man as the presumed perpetrator of a crime of assault and another of an attack against authority after he staged a fight in a bar area of Las Rapaduras, on León y Castillo street, in Arrecife. This has been confirmed by police sources to La Voz.
The events occurred around 08:45, when the agents were at one of the gas stations near this bar area and observed how a man hit another with a glass bottle on the head.
Due to the blow, the injured man suffered a bleeding gash on his head that required stitches, as indicated by the National Police. In addition, another man who was at the scene was also injured when one of the glass shards flew into one of his eyes.
Both were treated at the scene by health personnel and were transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The National Police intervened in the fight and arrested the presumed perpetrator of the events who, moreover, tried to assault the agents themselves.
