Officers of the National Police of Arrecife have arrested a known repeat offender as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with force in an inhabited house, committed just four days after being released from prison after serving a sentence for similar acts.
The events occurred in the early morning of January 3rd in a home located in the capital of Lanzarote, where the now-arrested individual gained access by forcing a window. Once inside, while the **resident and her son were sleeping**, he stole various valuable items, including mobile phones and video game consoles, and subsequently left the residence stealthily through the main door, which had the key in it, without alerting the occupants at any time
The Local Judicial Police Brigade (BLPJ-UDEV) carried out the investigation and thanks to the actions taken, the officers managed to identify the perpetrator of the robbery, who turned out to be an individual with multiple previous convictions for property crimes, mainly burglaries.
