A 54-year-old man was arrested last Saturday, August 3, for burning the house with his mother inside in Arrecife, as reported by the Local Police.
The events took place last Saturday, August 3, at around 9:00 p.m. in a house located on Juan Negrín street in the capital of Lanzarote, as reported by La Voz. T After being alerted, agents from the Citizen Attention Operational Group (GOAC) of the Arrecife Local Police, an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service and the Emergency Consortium went to the address.
Upon arriving at the scene and after carrying out the corresponding investigations, the agents were able to find out that the fire had been caused by the man while his mother was inside the house.
As will be recalled, the police intervention required the prolonged closure of the road from 9:10 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. for the emergency services to work.
The detainee was evacuated from the building with the help of firefighters, who used the aerial ladder to lower him. He was later arrested and placed at the disposal of the court.
