Explosion on a boat in Puerto Calero

Two men, aged 46 and 43, were injured with moderate burns in the explosion of a recreational boat, as reported by the Emergency Consortium. The incident took place this Monday at around 8:22 p.m. in Puerto Calero after the explosion, a fire broke out in the engine room.

After being alerted by the CECOES, agents of the Local Police, Civil Guard, firefighters, two ambulances, one for vital support and another medicalized, and Maritime Rescue were dispatched.

The health personnel assisted those affected who suffered moderate burns and after being stabilized were transferred in ambulances to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.

The firefighters extinguished the flames and the Civil Guard prepared the corresponding report.
