A Transavia France aircraft en route to Lanzarote had to make an emergency landing on Wednesday morning in the French city of Biarritz due to an emergency.
Flight 4660, connecting Paris Orly Airport with Lanzarote's César Manrique, departed the French capital at 07:05 in the morning. However, it had to land at 08:40 in Biarritz, in the south of the country, near the Spanish border, due to an emergency.
The plane, a twin-engine Boeing 737-800, was scheduled to land in Lanzarote at 10:05 in the morning. However, after the diversion, it arrived on the island at 12:10 in the afternoon. The flight ultimately lasted six hours and 12 minutes.
This flight between Paris Orly and Lanzarote departs every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the month.
