A man of about 32 years old has been arrested as the alleged perpetrator of the assault that took place during the brawl last Saturday morning in Marina Lanzarote.
According to the National Police, several witnesses stated that the detainee had attacked the victim by hitting him on the head with a glass, causing a deep, serious wound to the victim. Because he was constantly bleeding and in a high state of agitation, he had to be rushed to the Molina Orosa Hospital to be evaluated by a surgeon.
After locating and identifying the alleged perpetrator, the National Police officers were able to verify that he was a man of Maghrebi origin who also had a previous record with the Civil Guard for theft. Finally, the detainee has been brought to justice this Monday.
