A 46-year-old man was injured this Friday after falling from the roof of an industrial building in Arrecife. The accident occurred in the Argana neighborhood around 9:00 in the morning, in the capital of Lanzarote.
According to police sources speaking to La Voz, the worker was cleaning some solar panels when he fell from the roof and fell from a height of 6.7 meters. After the impact, the injured person suffered multiple contusions and fractures. The operator is hospitalized with a reserved serious prognosis.
Subsequently, the employee was treated by the health services, who managed to stabilize him and transferred him to the Molina Orosa hospital in a medicalized ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC).
Agents of the Local and National Police, as well as a second basic life support ambulance from the SUC, have also traveled to the scene of the incident.
At this time, the Police are carrying out the corresponding procedures as it is a work accident.
