The Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium intervened in the early morning of this past Wednesday, April 2, in a car accident in San Bartolomé. The events took place at 1:30 in the morning.

Alerted by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security, the firefighters went to the scene and verified that it was an overturned vehicle, whose driver was outside the car and was bleeding from an arm.

Healthcare workers from an ambulance of the Canary Islands Emergency Service also went to the area, where they attended to the driver, who apparently had minor injuries.

The healthcare workers transferred the driver to Dr. Molina Orosa Hospital. Meanwhile, the Local Police of Tías and the Civil Guard collaborated in the service. Once the Traffic Civil Guard arrived, they collected the necessary data and gave authorization for the firefighters to place the vehicle on all four wheels, disconnect the battery, and finally mark it with barricade tape.
