A 39-year-old woman has reported being sexually assaulted this Tuesday during the Arrecife (Lanzarote) carnival festivities, as reported this Wednesday by sources from the Superior Headquarters of the Canary Islands Police, which is investigating the events.
The victim went to the José Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife at around 2:30 a.m., where she was treated in the emergency service and by a forensic doctor, as the protocol established for these cases was activated.
The National Police is trying to locate the alleged aggressor, according to the sources.
