Two cars, one of them a taxi, have suffered an accident by rear-end collision this past Thursday morning in the municipality of Yaiza.
The events took place around 12:00 in the morning at the roundabout of the Playa Blanca gas station. Local Police officers went to the scene, directing traffic and carrying out the report.
The occupants of the two vehicles were outside the cars when the firefighters arrived.
Firefighters from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium participated in security tasks, disconnecting the battery and using sepiolite to absorb the liquid from the accident.
Meanwhile, the City Council's cleaning service removed the two damaged vehicles.
