A restaurant in Costa Teguise suffered a fire this Sunday, as reported by the Emergency Consortium. The fire took place around 3:05 p.m. on Islas Canarias Avenue in the tourist town.
The fire started in a cauldron and spread to the kitchen's extractor hood. The workers of the restaurant managed to extinguish the flames using several powder extinguishers.
When the firefighters arrived, they verified that there were no embers left and that it was well extinguished, so they proceeded to ventilate the premises.
