A 65-year-old German tourist was rescued this Thursday after suffering a fall on a mountain near La Cantería Beach in Órzola.
CECOES was alerted at 2:03 p.m., and after the notice, Local Police officers, an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service, and the Emergency Consortium were transferred to the scene.
The firefighters arrived where the injured man was with his partner. The affected person had a possible wrist fracture and other superficial injuries due to the fall.
The emergency teams secured the two people until they reached the path and later accompanied them to La Cantería Beach, where the healthcare personnel took care of the injured man. He was later evacuated by ambulance to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
The Local Police also collaborated in the rescue efforts.
