Four people have been slightly injured in a boat fire this Thursday, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The incident took place at approximately 8:30 p.m. this Thursday when CECOES was alerted. The recreational boat was near Puerto Calero. EMERLAN, Civil Guard, Local Police, and an ambulance from the SUC were mobilized to the scene.
The four crew members —three men and one woman— have been rescued by another boat that was near the scene. According to EMERLAN, the occupants only show mild symptoms of hypothermia and have declined to be transferred to a health center.
It is currently unknown what caused the fire.
