A paraglider has suffered minor injuries this Thursday after falling on La Cantería beach, in Órzola. The man, about 35 years old, has been transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital, although his condition is not serious, as La Voz has learned.
The events occurred around 12:45 p.m. Apparently, the paraglider was trying to land on this beach. However, he suffered a mishap and fell on this sandy area, although fortunately, then he had already lost considerable altitude and the collision was not very strong.
Rescues and Emergencies of the North (REN), as well as Civil Protection and the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), have moved to the scene. It was the REN that transferred the injured man in an ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
