A paraglider has been injured after falling with his paraglider to La Cantería beach in Órzola, in the municipality of Haría. The affected person presented a trauma to the back of a mild nature, as reported by the Canary Islands Government Security and Emergency Coordinating Center 112.
The 112 received the alert at 12.44 hours. Two ambulances from the Canary Islands Health Service (SUC), a fire truck, Haría Local Police and Civil Protection personnel and Civil Guard agents have traveled to the scene. Firefighters and Civil Protection have evacuated the injured man to the ambulance.
The affected person, of German nationality and 66 years of age, has been transferred in a basic life support ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
