A 45-year-old man with severe multiple injuries was transferred in a SUC medical ambulance to Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital after suffering a fall yesterday in the El Cuchillo area of the municipality of Tinajo.
At 12:20 p.m. on Saturday, an alert was received at the Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2 reporting the fall of a paraglider in the aforementioned area, which immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
The affected person was injured with severe multiple injuries, so after being treated and stabilized by the SUC medical personnel, he was evacuated to the hospital center.
Firefighters and Civil Protection personnel were in charge of rescuing the injured person, while the Local Police collaborated with the intervening resources.
