A 51-year-old Austrian paraglider has been moderately injured after suffering an accident in a difficult-to-access area in the Las Gambuesas area of Tinajo. The accident occurred at around 4:00 p.m. this Sunday.
Local Police, Civil Guard, firefighters and a basic life support ambulance from the SUC have traveled to the scene.
The firefighters arrived to the affected person and transferred him to the place where the SUC ambulance was located. The SUC medical personnel performed the initial assistance to the affected person, who presented a trauma to a leg and face of moderate character. Once stabilized, he has been transferred in a SUC ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
