A 27-year-old paraglider was injured this Monday after suffering a fall on the coast of Órzola. The incident took place around 4:45 p.m. in an area of difficult access, which complicated the rescue.
According to the first assessment, the young man presented "different traumas of a moderate nature" and was transferred in a medicalized ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
In addition to this ambulance and another basic life support ambulance from the SUC, agents of the Local Police and the Civil Guard and members of the fire department have traveled to the scene, who were in charge of evacuating the injured person on a stretcher and transferring him to the ambulance.
