A 13-year-old minor suffered a near-drowning this Friday in a swimming pool in some apartments in Puerto del Carmen, as reported by the Canary Islands Government Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES).
The event occurred this Friday, around 8:14 p.m. when the CEOCES was alerted. Local Police, Civil Guard agents and a medicalized ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service went to the scene.
Once at the scene, the health personnel assessed and assisted the minor, who once stabilized was taken in a medicalized ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa hospital..
