A man had to be rescued this Tuesday after an accident in a rocky area of a beach in Puerto del Carmen, according to the Lanzarote Volunteer Firefighters.
The event took place at around 10:50 a.m. when CECOES was alerted to the incident. An ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service and the Boluntis have traveled to the scene.
The injured man presented trauma to the costal area, so the firefighters immobilized him with a cervical collar and then placed him on a board to transfer him from the accident area to the ambulance.
Finally, the Basic Life Support ambulance evacuates him to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
