A young man from Lanzarote had to be rescued last weekend during a leisure trip through Norway after suffering a medical problem. The 'conejero' (person from Lanzarote) was evacuated in a helicopter from a fjord located in the Norwegian city of Alesund to the Romsdal hospital, almost 200 kilometers away and located in the west of the country.
In the images that this editorial team has accessed, you can see how the young 'conejero' was attended by a rescue team. The video shows a health worker who descended to the ground where the Canary Islander was, hung him from a security system that was connected to the helicopter and took him with him, flying over 190 kilometers of fjords until reaching the Romsdal hospital.
The university student, who is on Erasmus in an Eastern European country, will not forget the views during the journey. After this peculiar experience, he is recovered and back in the country where he is carrying out the European educational program.
