A diver has died in Playa Blanca, after suffering a cardiorespiratory arrest from which he could not be recovered.
The incident occurred in Playa Flamingo at around 12 noon this Monday.
After being rescued from the water, the lifeguard began resuscitation maneuvers, which were later continued unsuccessfully by the paramedics.
The deceased is of foreign nationality and was about 60 years old.
