The firefighters have attended to a French tourist, injured in a finger after a fall with his bicycle on the La Concha road in La Graciosa. The incident occurred early this Friday morning at around 2.45 am.
According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, the firefighters were about to do their service on the way to Playa de la Concha, when about 500 meters before reaching their parking, they found a couple of French tourists in their thirties, at which point they saw the injured man.
He had suffered a fall with his bicycle and as a result, he had peeled off the skin of a finger on his left foot, it says. Then, they gave him a bottle of water since he was fatigued and proceeded to heal the wound, starting by disinfecting it with hydrogen peroxide and washing it well with serum. Then they bandaged his finger and finished the cure.
After finishing, the man was recovered and continued on his way riding his bicycle.
