In the early hours of this Monday, January 1st, around 3 a.m., an accident occurred at the entrance of Playa Honda from the airport. Two young people crashed into the garbage containers and a car that was parked in the area. The impact was such that they also damaged the wall of a new construction.
The two occupants of the vehicle left the vehicle on their own and were not injured. Local Police officers carried out the corresponding report.
The residents of the area, who are already "tired of this situation, have been asking the city council to install a large speed bump to avoid these incidents." According to them, cars usually enter at high speed from the highway to Pescante street, which represents a constant danger.
“It's panic,” says a neighbor, “we go here to throw out the garbage and we also walk around the area. This is very dangerous.” Residents hope that this incident will serve for the authorities to take action and thus guarantee the safety of all.
