A car crashed into a traffic light on Las Rosas street in Montaña Blanca, according to reports from the Emergency Consortium.
The accident occurred around 10:00 p.m. this Friday when the Canary Islands Government Emergency Coordinating Center was activated.
Firefighters, Civil Guard agents, Local Police, and an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service were dispatched to the scene. The health personnel attended to the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, who initially appeared to be in good health.
The firefighters disconnected and removed the traffic light luminaires since they had broken after the impact and were hanging from a cable. They also disconnected the vehicle's battery and cleaned the road of glass and plastic debris.
