Firefighters collected a bale floating 200 meters from the coast of Puerto del Carmen this Thursday. As reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium, the package was spotted at 7:59 p.m. in front of the Hotel Fariones, specifically in the Playa Grande area.
Alerted by the Local Police of Tías, the emergency teams went to the place to collect the object that was floating in the water. Next, they left with the jet ski and transferred the package to port to be reviewed by the Civil Guard agents.
This Friday, the Civil Guard is analyzing the package to find out the substance found inside.
