A 91-year-old woman was injured this Tuesday after falling from the electric car she was driving in Playa Blanca, as reported by CECOES. The events occurred around 10:52 p.m. when the woman was walking on public roads.
As La Voz has learned, the elderly woman was driving down a street when she fell while turning the corner. According to witnesses, the elderly woman, of English nationality, had to be attended to by some citizens before the arrival of the ambulance. It was a man who witnessed the event who applied a tourniquet with a belt, explained the citizen.
Once the ambulance of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) arrived, she was rescued and transferred to the Molina Orosa Hospital to treat her for the injuries she suffered to her leg and foot.
In addition, Local Police officers also went to the area to help rescue the woman.
